i have been so busy that i havent had time to blog in the meantime my brother ron is talking about dropping out of the blogging world, so me being supportive i came to comment on the blogs! I cant wait til we can all have our summer pool parties at rons house anybody that would like to join just e mail me and ill tell u the easiest way to get over the gates!!!! Anyways, work has been real busy (thank goodness) but also with work being busy its harder to pack the house and get ready for the big move! The kids dont help at all. i put a box in thier room to put all the things that they want to take to the new house. They made jordan a bed out of the box and packed nadda thing! Cs is throwing away everything and anything!!! (driving me nuts) i come home and stuff is gone, he decided to stop by the house in the garbage truck and load it up a couple times! The thing is that most of the stuff isnt his that makes it in the truck!

Also Kim, doc said that u can bring them to our offfice and she'll clean thier teeth every 6 months! If u refer us to other people shoot she'll hook the whole family up!!!!! And im real serious about u coming and doing pics for us! Can we do this soon tho..... Find us a spot and we'll meet u there on a friday, sat or sunday!!!! sat has to be after 3 tho!!!! let me know for reals we need some done bad, we dont have 1 family pic together.

Kids say the funniest things, especially my Kobie!!! The other day cs was telling all teh kids that their heads llok like dirty tennis balls. After hearing it all day Kobie said i'd rather look like dirty tennis ball than like u a dirty pole!!!! i started cracking up cuz cs looked shocked! It did fit him tho since hes skinny and just a little black!!!!!
Back on Kobie i need some advice because i have no clue what to do w/ him and his clothes!!!! He has pants and shorts that fit his long legs but chooses to wear Kavins jeans that are made for short legs. Seriously i dont know what to do he sports kavins pants as capris! Everyday I iron a pair of size10 jeans for Kobie and he comes out of the room w/ wrinkled 8's on. They are 1/2 way to his shin and he argues that his other pants are too long! Not only that, he has 3 shirts that we hid because he can only wear these 3 shirts! We buy him good clothes but they sit in closet until they are too little. My son really isnt a bum and after we argue and hes mad about what he has to wear he looks really handsome! I just want him to care about how he looks!!!!! Help me!!!!!! Any suggestions?

I'm 1/2 way done with my work week! I love weekends and pay days! Yesterday, cs brought all the kids to the office for check ups! You would think that since i work in a dental office i would bring them every 6 months, right? WRONG! its been a year since they came! Well in the end the outcome of the check ups were shocking! My 2 that have never had a cavity had cavities and the ones i knew were gonna need root canals didnt have a cavity! Kobie had no cavities. He was shocked when doctor barin said no cavities. He was like i dont? i dont? are u serious? Doctor Barin was laughing because he kept saying it. Kavin had 1 cavity and thought it was the end of the world! Aaliha has 3 cavities but aaliha did tell doc its only because when she goes to her moms house her and her mom dont brush their teeth! ha ha! Let me laugh about it again!!!!!! ha hahha ahh! Kolton had no cavities but need braces. Anyways, i was reminded yesterday why i wait to bring them to my work. They cleaned the toy box out, ran around like its their office too, and came right after school so we had to hear about them starving to death the whole time!Yesterday was cherise's b day and she never called me back so i know she better have had a good time!!!!! Kim i love the pics from sunday! Do u do weddings? only because heather will be getting married soon! Ya, she comes into work every morning on the phone w mike on the phone and a BIG grin!!!!! I mean every morning! Ya i think we need to worry cherise because our little sister is going to get married before us! lol!

Easter flew by already and this means before you know, its 4th of july, then thanksgiving then christmas all within what seems like 3 months! Well we didnt do too much on easter. I did come out of my house to see kolton driving cs around the block. They both had the biggest grins on thier faces as my face wanted to cry and throw up. My stomache hurt because it hit me that he is 13 and in 3 yrs he really will be driving. All we really did was lay around the house attempting to go to the park, but then waited so long that it was time for the easter dinner at moms. Tell me what it is w/ guys and cars? Cs has me and the kids drive seperate cars to places sometimes. He says its so in case one of us has to leave early, but i really think its so we can watch him drive in the old school car. He can be the biggest dork. He watches himself in the paint reflection in other cars on the side of him when hes in that car! So yesterday he goes and hops in the old school car assuming that we were all driving in the truck, but i had everyone get in his car. He was lookin like we were crazy! Anyways, it was a nice ride the weather was perfect to ride w the top down and we cruised.

So doc is back today and we have the longest most crazy day ahead. Work from 7 to 7 today and why is it that everyone gets a toothache at the same time.... when the doctor leaves town!!!! I just wanted to tell kim thank u for keeping kobie agagin today and that im sorry about travis!!!! He was one of those great guys that made everyone laugh. He will be missed! Love ya all!!!!

I have to tell everyone how mean my bother KIM is!!!!!!! So, when i got home from work he calls me saying they are going to cali and can i get off just a couple days! Knowing i cant take off work at all this week, i still contemplated it! He is so mean then as i was thinking, how i can do this, he says," ha ha no were not going"!!! This is the kind of abuse that i should be used to after all these yrs. Why do i fall for all his pranks?!!! So not only did kim play a prank on me so did cs. While i was at work he called and was talking about having a couple boys over to watch the final basketball game and just bbq some hot links and hamb. So, when i get home the game was gettin ready to start there was like 4 people and it was calm, then i swear at tip off here comes 8 more people trying to find a park on our street. My niece nan came to see me after work so we are talking in the garage watching them, and i know these fools are not leaving after the game, they are having a full on party! they are carrying bags of ice, drinks, more food, more snacks more ice, more beer, more everything. so me and nan left!!!! When we came back the game was only at half time and nan had to go to her friends house so i went and locked myself in my room like a good little white girl. The party didnt last too long, only because they had to all get up at 5 am to work! But that was 2 times i got tricked in 1 day!!!

uggghhhh. Who else has to work on spring break? I think they should pass a law that when the kids go on spring break they should make it family week! I want to be out doing something w/ my kids all week! I think we should plan a cheap week in cali! (ya kim) We can all stay in the rental apart. go to the beach cook cheap meals that feed a lot of us and call it a recession vacation! We'll see how many families can go!!!! O it has to be on a thurs, fri, or sat tho because did i mention im working!!!! o ya i did!!!! Anyways, this weekend i went by my potentially new house and took measurments to paint. Our close date is the end of april but connie and greg are telling us sooner! (keep our fingers crossed) i get so nervous as it gets closer. Its a happy sad moment only because i love the house were in, it has a lot of memories from when machelle and delbert lived there to now. Saturday i ran heather to the airport so she could go visit her boy toy in kentucky! Addie called and wanted us to come and get her so she could hang out, then amanda called and they all decided to go bowling at santa fe. They are at the age where they want to be a little free so they thought i was dropping them off so they could be grown. Little did they know that after 6pm u have to have somebody over 21 w u. So me and kobie stayed w them and watched. They seemed kind of bummed like i am not cool or something. i was watching them interact w each other and im glad they are such close cousins! Granted, i almost killed addie a couple time for telling me how fine that boy is and that one, and that one....and breakin her neck to look at them!!!!! Then kolton got brave started talking about his girlfriend! (or so he said future girlfriend). Amanda and her friend were more reserved. I think the teens years might really kill me because it makes my stomache hurt to think about them having boyfriends/girlfriends! They are really good kids though and i just love them!
I have to tell cherise sorry for giving her attitude via text messaging! St johns wart works wonders! By the way what happened to our suprise b day party? hmmmmm!

i am so on a roll!!!!! Today i woke and i was feeling like a carebear! i was thinking.... i have the best family! Ya... we have our lil tiffs and such, but also we all stick together so well when it counts! I was thinking about each person in my family.
Machelle: the family therapist, best heart, the one who would go out of her way to give even in times she really doesnt have anything to give.
Kim: The thinker. Always has a target of success and when he reaches that target he exceeds and goes further. Can be serious but also be the biggest jokester. He is the one that will help u in any emergency situation O and thanks for letting us have surprise bbq's at ur house when u leave town and not getting mad at us!
steph: She is the quieter one that cracks those jokes that shock u coming from her. We think she is the angel but really shes smart because she moved away from vegas so we would always believe that! She has this persoonality that are so playful and i think i have only seen her mad 2 times.
russ: ummmmm just love him!
brett: he is the GQ. He always tucked his t-shirts into jeans and looks nice even in his flip flops w/ the longest mecham toe in the world. He is a great dad and im sure husband, because me and him have always had a close relationship.
doug: He is my brother that says anything and everything he makes u laugh by saying the most off things, but u have to laugh because the way he says certain things. He is laid back and doesnt get his underwear in a bunch but also when he does WATCH OUT!!! He has a big heart and is a big ol' teddy bear!
cherise: This girl is my bestest friend. She is my twin that just was born a yr later! We know each other like the back of hands. We can tell when somethings wrong even if we havent talke d that day! We are the pregnant investigators always trying to find out who is prego when i crave homemade choc chip cookies and she craves oreos at the same time! we are the blacksican sheep of the family!!!! ha ha!!!
darren: he is my lil brother but i do look up to him! He sets his standards high for everyone. He is a carebear in disguise. He tries to be tough but will sneak and be sensitive. He is an awesome dad. He has helped me to raise my boys before and after he had his own kids. If u ever called him for help he will be there! it might be w all 4 kids to change a tire but he will get there!
heather: she is a free bird we all ask heather where she is going this weekend. She is the one we all live through. She goes on cruises, other countries, hikes. she says she wants a bf to settle down with but i think we dont want her to get one cuz shes the baby sister and should just stay free because none of us did!!!!!
Randy: He is the baby baby. He is the sweetest brother of them all. He is very goal oriented and sets his mind to something and will get it by working his butt off for it! My boys love him to death. He just has to stop by the house to say hi on his way home sometimes and my kids come from hiding, running to uncle rannnnnnnnndy! He has the sweetest personality.
last but not least:
my mom: let me try to type this w/out crying. she is the backbone of our family. she stays strong in any situation. she works long hard hours and then finds the energy to come across town to help get gradkids here there and everywhere. She is like the energizer bunny. I love my mom i dont always tell her but i just hope she knows that she is the best mom in the world!
dad: He is on top of his game! He can pull phone numbers out of his head from 20 yrs ago i swear. He makes evryone feel important by calling them through the day to tell them if the weather is good, if the pollen is high, or just to see how the family is doing today! Sometimes im really crazy right at that moment and kind of short w him but he always ends the call "alright love ya" . He is my sons grandpa but also took the place of the dad in their lives. No matter how many yrs cs has been around on fathers day all the crafts and cards still go to grandpa!
To my in laws there are way too many kids in my family to comment on each of them. But they all no that it is very hard to hang w the mechams and they do it! all my sisters and brothers married great people that complete them and make them happy and we just gotta love them for that! I love all of my family and just wanted them to know this!

ok so kim u did pretty good telling my april fools jokes that i did. Like i said, the one i did on mom was the one that got the best reaction.... she talked about bopping heads and even tag teamed bopping heads w bri's dad! Anyways, yesterday on my was to work i txt romella and rima (the other 2 that work in the office w/ me and heather) i said : Me and heather have a family function that we have to make today so we will not not be in today!!!! u should no that me and heather usually open the office since we live closer and rima and romella drive from henderson. Our first patient yest was at 8:30 rimella got the message at 8:15. I know romella and i know she wasnt going to call my phone she was gonna see if it was a trick, so when the phone rang that morning for the first time, i had doc playing along, so she answered the phone and u could hear romella saying, i just got her messgae and she was like 45 min from work and she didnt even do her hair..... doc broke down and started laughing giving me away cuz i wanted her to make it ll the way here first!!!! Heather and the office were trying to get me all day, but i was like ya ok well if its still like that tom ill figure it out!!!! hmmmmm they are so not smooth!!!!! Next yr i will have to try to beat this one but i know its possible!!!

Anyways, i had to come on here and tell all the daily bloggers to keep up the good work because i am a blog stalker and read all your blogs almost everyday! I wanted to say thanks to carol for having a cool guessing contest so it maded me log on and guess so i decided to post. Also i wanted to say hi to rebekah romero (sorry i dont know your new last name) i saw her on friday while i was with my kids and she totally knew my name. It made me smile because i havent seen her in many yrs and she knew my full name! it made me remember those days that her dad made those burritos w meat and egg, and her mom made a concoction for my tooth ache i had out of apple cider vinegar and something else. It didnt work but it was the thought that counted because i was in a lot of pain that day! There family is so sweet! Anyways, not a lot is happening here the kids are getting ready to go on spring break and our house is closing escrow so its just a waiting game right now! I wanted to give a shot out to my family because i really havent seen them lately! (hmmmmm) Well, i see mom and dad beacuse they make their rounds on our side almost every weekend! I see heather everyday only because she works w/ me at my job, but thats about all i have seen lately! Well, i keep wanting to have these family nights out where we all go bowling w/ our kids and take over the whole bowling alley!!!!

• last night i went to a kobie and kavin's blue and gold dinner after work. I was really rushing to get there on time because they were giving kobie an award and i was going with 4 kids alone! So when i get there i see a GIRL trish in my old primary class growing up, (we were close sometimes depending on who the cool one was at that time) anyways, i have seen her at a couple of church things but i never saw her with her kids. So i walk in and she motioons for me to come down by her ( there were no seats and i was wondering why i had to push all 4 of my kids up between tables to go say hi and then back to the front to find a seat for all of us!) So, i do just so im not rude! cuz im not rude that much!(shut up cherise) i get there and shes like hi and gives this nasty look like ugggghhh anyways it was ugly. so heres how the conversation went:

(then her crazy look)
me: so where are your baby or babies, ive seen u a couple times but never w them
her: (another crazy look) ummm lucky me, this is .... this is ..... o and this is my husband.....
her (to her husband and people around): this is mindy mecham
me: i kind of laugh because nobody calls me mindy anymore
her: whats funny? (snappy)
me: o nobody calls me mindy anymore it just was kind of funny.
her: (crazy look before she turned her chair away from me) mindy melinda its all the same!
me: ummmmm ok awkward.
(i turned around and was a little upset because i was A. already uncomfortable. and B. the bi%$H already knew it, and i think she was tryin to be a snob like back in the day!) As the night went on i was getting angrier and angrier! Me being a mecham didnt come back w a quick response uggghhhh. Just had to vent for a min!

So, now im over that! Cherise came this weekend and visited w her family. i was kind of a homebody just wasnt feelin too hot! But i always love when she comes! This time isaiah came to me and would even give hugs and kisses. Marcos got his new name napolion, because he would talk and it reminded me of napolian dynamite. GOSH aunt mindy! He did inform me that he is mexican now though. That boy is so funny! Well, i miss u cherise and want u to come back now! Ron maybe next time u wont have shingles or the flu or whatever u had, so u can visit her too! (ya we heard about 5 diff sicknesses u had sunday!)

Ok.... so i just have to start off by saying that ron your are a nutcase! i swear u better keep ur eyes straight cuz kathy might be little but she can probably kick some butt! ur blog is pretty good too.... its mine and cs entertainment cuz u and cherise say some of the craziest things!!!

Well, since im not as funny as you guys i'm luck enough to have given bith to kids that are funny! so i will now be posting kobie's deep questions of the day! hopefully i will stay up on this because he asks some ?'s that make u think....who thinks of these things! So i will give u a couple that he asked lately.

Kobie: If there was a huge fire and a small pond or lake would the lake water or pond be able to put out the fire?


he has a book of thoughts that i will have to ask to borrow from him. Well, for now i have to go so i can get through this crazy day!

Ok so i woke up today feeling real sad for my sister machelle! i couldnt sleep all night because she cant catch a break lately! I just sit and think what can i do to help? i have tried all my connections at work to help her find a job so she can just work......and there is nothing! she has always been so selfless and always has helped everyone get out of the ruts they were in. I call her the family therapist cuz she always knows what to say and how to help. She always has worked so hard for her family and has always inspired me when i think i have it hard i see what shes doing and i get myself together and keep it pushing! She has been coming to my dental office to learn how to assist w doc so she can find something to help! i have so many emotions that i cant get them all in order! I just love her and want things to get better for her so she doesnt have to stress anymore! If anybody knows of any jobs please let me know!!!!! she can multi task and is a very hard worker. Just the economic times hit her hard and very fast!
